AvaTrade Philippines Review :
I don’t want to bore you guys with a long review and figured I always begin with the conclusion. AvaTrade is a decent broker. They’ve been around for over 10 years and your money should be safe with them. The main problem I encountered while using AvaTrade in the Philippines is that their support is awfully slow. It was quite hard to get the account approved because they took so long to reply. Check out my other reviews to find some better brokers that work in the Philippines.
Ava Capital Markets Ltd., the retail forex arm of the international investment firm Ava Group, is a forex broker headquartered in Ireland. It is regulated by ASIC and the Irish authorities in accordance with MiFiD, the EU’s investment regulations under reference number C53877. They are regulated by : ASIC, FSA, FSB and MiFID so your money is quite safe with them.
Lately there have been some complains about the company on Twitter though but most of them mention that the users aren’t happy with the customer service response.
What can you trade with AvaTrade:
AvaTrade is a Forex broker and you can trade all major pairs including crosses on their platform. Their spreads are fair and among the best in the Industry. AvaTrade also allows you to trade Indexes ( unfortunaly PSEI isn’t one of them) and a few commodities such as Gold and Silver.
With AvaTrade you can use up to 1:400 leverage. Read up on my post about applying leverage though before you go wild!
MetaTrader4, Sirix, AvaOptions, AvaTrader (they have their own app although as you know i highly recommend MT4!) , Mirror Trader. If you ask me just use MetaTrader. Its the cleanest and most professional interface in my opinion.
AvaTrade Philippines Deposit Options:
For traders from the Philippines are quite limited. When I was trying to deposit money it basically just offered credit card ( visa & Mastercard ) or Wire Transfers. AvaTrade is quite generous with first time depositors though and they offer up to 40% welcome bonus. So if you have a working credit card you can deposit your money with AvaTrade. Although for the Philippines I would’ve personally welcomed some local payment options or at least Paypal. The minimum is $100 ( about 5000 PHP).
All in All Ava Trade is a decent broker and if you’re fine with the limited deposit options & lack of customer support you should give them a try.
